As we know, in Brussel they draw up new guidelines for tattoo-studios which concern all European studios and will cancel all national guidelines. In Netherlands, Amsterdam is already a pilot-project on duty and in Austria politics made rules of instruction, which are in some cases non-practicable. The tattoo-artists there already know what future will bring for all of us , unless we finally team up and work together with the EU-commission in Brussel!

The D.O.T. ( German Tattooartist Organisation) already did some work in advance.With help from experts we found Brussel’s temporary plan non practicable. We made our own guidelines like we see a tattoo-studio in the future, clean, hygenic perfect, but still individual and most of all practicable and payable for all.

Here comes the UETA. We found, that in Brussel nobody is even prepared to listen to us because the D.O.T. is a national union. Now it was clear: We need an international union as soon as possible which is recognized in Brussel, to support our interests for Europe.

UETA’s duty will be the support of the interests of the European tattoo-artists and the cooperation in Brussel for the new laws and guidelines.

We need the help of possibly ALL(!) professional tattoo-studios, it’s about our all future!

The project in Brussel may become expensive and success is not guaranteed, but if we don’t try together, for many of us future could be very sad!

With an annual amount of 50,-€ everybody can do his bit! The money will be spent for experts, expert’s witnesses and lawyers and only a small part for the costs.

For the beginning the D.O.T. will help with it’s structure.

Please everybody help to save our beloved job, the national unions of England, Netherlands, everybody! It’s not about personal prefers or quality! It’s about getting as many members as possible to be financial powerful enough for the “fight” in Brussel!
